Switzerland kept their World Cup hopes alive with a dramatic late victory over Serbia thanks to goals from Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri.
Serbia had taken the lead in the Group E clash through Aleksandar Mitrovic but Xhaka equalised with a thunderous strike shortly after the break.
The match looked to be heading for a draw until a stunning intervention from Shaqiri, who latched onto a through ball and outpaced the defence before slotting home past Vladimir Stojkovic.
Both Xhaka and Shaqiri performed matching celebrations following their goals, interlocking their fingers in a gesture celebrating Albania.
Xhaka was born to Kosovan-Albanian parents and has a brother, Taulant, who represents the national team.
Meanwhile, Shaqiri was born in Kosovo when it was part of the former Yugoslavia and emigrated to Switzerland with his family.
Both players are fiercely proud of their heritage and opted to show off the Albanian Eagle celebration, designed to mimic the two-headed eagle on the national flag.
