EA Play is the first big showcase of E3 2018.
The event sees the publisher get in early and show off its upcoming games before the likes of Microsoft, Bethesda, Sony, Nintendo, Square Enix and more start rolling out their upcoming titles.
If the name wasn't already a dead giveaway, EA Play is effectively a press conference for Electronic Arts and will showcase their new releases set to arrive over the next few months and potentially well into 2018.
Unusually, EA Play is also a fan event with over 10 game experiences on show, 140 hands-on gaming stations, demos, live music and more.
EA has promised "an inside look at the stunning new action game, Anthem" at this years 2018 EA Play event which takes place around E3 2018 in Los Angeles.
This would suggest that the game is ready to get some sort of public hands-on at the event - surely a litmus test for a future beta from the company, too?
We're sure we'll get more announced from BioWare and EA at the E3 showcase.
You can see everything we know so far about all the games that have been announced and shown at E3 2018 here.

Anthem - What is it?
Announced by BioWare and EA back at E3 this year, Anthem is the publisher's answer to Activision and Bungie's own Destiny series.
The game - a shared world shooter revolving around loot, mech suits and exploration - has been the subject of many gamer's attention since its light reveal in the summer.
We got a trailer at E3, but since then EA has been pretty quiet on the status of the game: we don't even know when it's supposed to properly release.
However, we might have some more news about the game coming soon if a few tweets from one of the game directors is to be believed.
Anthem - When is it coming out?
EA delayed Anthem earlier this year. The game, as far as we know, simply has a release date of '2019'.
Previous rumours stated that EA was pushing the shared world shooter back into 2019, news which was leaked by Jason Schreier at Kotaku.
Schreier, known for his deep dives into studios, suggested the game will release no later than March 2019 (as to be in line with EA's fiscal year), and that a release date of 2018 'was never realistic'.
The article also suggests developer BioWare has a lot at stake with Anthem - after Mass Effect: Andromeda proved to be a miss for many, the future of the studio could prove to rely on the success of the game.
The tone of the piece suggests Anthem will be an 'all or nothing' project for the studio, so here's hoping the game does eventually see a release, and that it's a strong enough project to keep the Dragon Age and Mass Effect developer alive.
We do know more about Anthem - if you'd like to know more about the game, you can find our parent page for Anthem here.
