Deadpool 2 star Ryan Reynolds, who plays the eponymous antihero, has hinted a Deadpool 3 movie may be on the horizon.
But so far there has been no confirmation as to whether the film will release its third title.
Reynolds is currently focussing more on X-Force, the movie in which he will star as part of an ensemble.
However, director of Deadpool 2 David Leitch told Den of Geek he isn't a one and done director.
“I would love to work with Ryan and Rhett and Paul and Simon again,” he said.
“We just had a really good time and I love this world, and I love this universe, and I love the character that he's made so endearing to the fans, and so I would be grateful to work on something again."
Leitch added: “It just depends on time and place, so we'll see what happens.”
Reynolds also mentioned for Deadpool 3 he thinks they'd have to do something really radical, like drop the budget and make a far more intimate movie.
Deadpool 3: Ryan Reynolds has tentatively confirmed Deadpool 3
He told Entertainment Weekly: "It could be anything. Deadpool could be a Sundance film."
During a TV interview with Loraine Kelly, Reynolds said a Deadpool 3 is essentially guaranteed to happen at some point.
And ideally, the movie would feature Wolverine - that is if Reynolds got his way.
Of course, that then involves getting Hugh Jackman on board.
"I badger Hugh Jackman weekly to put the claws back on," Reynolds said.
