Fortnite fans have discovered an Anchor in the map
Fortnite fans have made an interesting discovery in the Battle Royale map.
Fortnite fans spotted cracks in the sky following the recent rocket launch.
Some believe the cracks represent an inter-dimensional portal, while others believe it’s some kind of time warp.
The cracks would soon start to make things disappear from the map, including the Tomato Town mascot and the Lonely Lodge sign.
But now it appears something has been added to the Battle Royale map.
An anchor has appeared in the hills between Snobby Shores and Greasy Grove.
Perhaps hinting at the direction for the new season, the large anchor can be found on the B6 portion of the map, close to the abandoned car and vending machine.
The Fortnite season 5 Battle Pass will launch on July 12 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and iOS.
One alleged leak featured a female Battle Royale character wearing an Ancient Egyptian headband, golden shoulder armour and a dress.
The character is also pictured in a sandy setting, which suggests a new point of interest will be added to the Battle Royale map.
In the meantime, fans have just a few days to complete the season 4 Battle Pass and unlock all the rewards.
The final set of season 4 Battle Pass challenges are pretty tricky, tasking players with eliminating ten opponents, skydiving through floating rings and more.
