The Hitman 2 release date and first trailer has been released
A new announcement trailer for Hitman 2 was released today, following several weeks of reports and leaks.
Breaking from the usual announcement wave at E3 2018, the Hitman 2 release date was confirmed for November 13, 2018.
The first trailer showed the famous Assassin going about his business during motor race, with several different ways shown to eliminate the target in hand.
“Unravel the past of the elusive Shadow Client as you track your targets across 6 new exotic locations and improvise the biggest kills in franchise history,” an accompanying message reveals.
The game has been confirmed to be ditching the episodic format of the previous Hitman game.
This means that there won’t be a similar Season 2 dropping in 2018, or 2019.
However, that doesn’t rule out further DLC for the game, following its launch later this year.
Pre-Orders for the game have already gone live for PS4 and Xbox One, with the game also coming to Steam.
There are all kinds of different bundles that can be bought for the game, with the Sniper Assassin mode offering early access as a pre-order incentive.
