Last autumn Craig announced he would return as James Bond for a fifth and final outing, to be released in November 2019.
Since then nothing else has been confirmed, although the latest rumours claim Danny Boyle is set to sign on as director.
The Oscar-winning filmmaker is shooting Richard Curtis’s musical comedy All You Need Is Love this summer, but it’s alleged Craig and 007 producers are willing to wait until late 2018 to shoot Bond 25 with him, provided John Hodge’s script is up to scratch.
Now Baby Driver’s Lily James is in talks to star in All You Need Is Love, according to Variety.

The 28-year-old also starred opposite Gary Oldman’s Churchill in Darkest Hour and will next play a younger version of Meryl Streep’s character in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again this summer.
Since Hollywood directors have a trend of liking to work with the same actors, perhaps Lily’s chances of shooting Bond 25 with Boyle straight afterwards are now even better.
