Jose Mourinho's men handed the Premier League title to neighbours Manchester City after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Darren Moore's side on Sunday.

The Baggies were 18/1 with the bookmakers to record a shock victory before kick-off, and many expected United to add more misery to the league's bottom club.

But Henry claims he sensed West Brom may be able to pull off a shock victory at Old Trafford.

"As soon as the game started, something was weird," the former Arsenal striker told Sky Sports.

"The atmosphere of the stadium, the team - it's so weird from what we saw from that team a week ago.

"West Brom outworked them; they wanted to go out and hurt them.

Mourinho will be hoping the atmosphere at the Theatre of Dreams improves over the next few weeks as United aim to finish second in the table.

And speaking after the loss, the Portuguese boss defended his ability to lead the club to glory.

"I trust in my work, that's for sure," he told reporters.

"I have no reason not to trust - eight titles are eight titles and three Premier Leagues are three Premier Leagues.

"The last Premier League was not 20 years ago, it was three years ago.

"I know how to win."
