That’s the verdict of Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas, who says the Belgium international is not good enough to play for United.

Jose Mourinho has led his side to a probable second-placed finish this season but they are way off the pace set by champions Manchester City.

Manchester United are expected to make a whole host of signings in the summer as they look to build a team capable of competing with Pep Guardiola’s men.

United are also likely to wave goodbye to a cluster of players, with Fellaini potentially one of them when his contract expires at the end of June.

Nicholas has now revealed three other men he expects to be on the move when the transfer window opens at the end of the season too.

"Well after scoring the winner against Arsenal I'm not his biggest fan!," Nicholas told Sky Sports, when asked about Fellaini’s future.

"He was one of the players who was brought in for the sake of it under a desperate David Moyes, but we can see he's not technically good enough to stay at United.

Marouane Fellaini Manchester United Premier League

Marouane Fellaini could leave Manchester United when his contract expires in the summer

"I think they've got an option on extending his contract but if they're going to bring in a few other players this summer then you'd think he'd be part of the sale along with Luke Shaw, Juan Mata and Marcos Rojo."

United can secure second place by taking a point from their final two games of the Premier League campaign.

They visit West Ham at the London Stadium tonight, before welcoming Watford to Old Trafford on Sunday.
