PUBG down – Server status latest as Battlegrounds goes offline
PUBG is down right now with Battlegrounds players hit by server issues.
The official PUBG Twitter account has confirmed that Battlegrounds players on PCs are experiencing connection issues.
Bluehole said engineers are working on resolving the PUBG server issues at the moment.
The official PUBG Help Twitter account posted: “PC Players: We are aware of the connectivity issues that some of you are experiencing.
“Our engineers are working on resolving these as soon as possible.”
Independent outage monitor Down Detector has also received a surge of reports of PUBG down today.
The latest PUBG down issues come after servers went offline earlier for maintenance ahead of a new update for Battlegrounds.
Patch 17 features new terrain collision fixes, visual improvements to Sanhok, and special PGI themed visuals.
To celebrate the upcoming PGI tournament, Bluehole will update the game with a new lobby, BGM, and loading screen.
PUBG server downtime was originally meant to last for three hours, with servers coming back online at 6am BST.
However, server maintenance ended up getting extended by a further three hours.
Bluehole said server maintenance was extended due to an “unforeseen technical issue”.
