It looks like Square Enix's next Tomb Raider game has leaked ahead of time.
A new website has launched announcing that a full reveal of the title is coming tomorrow, but a brief inspection of the site's source code reveals something much more interesting.
A line of text hidden in the code of the site states Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be 'the climactic finale of Lara's origin story. Available September 14 2018'
You can see that here.
So we can expect a full reveal at E3, followed by the launch of the game this autumn.
We'll update you with more information as it becomes available.
This leak comes as rumours abound that the game won't be made by Tomb Raider veterans Crystal Dynamics, but instead will be put together by Eidos Montreal (the team behind 2014's Thief).
There is no word on whether the game will have a timed exclusivity window for Xbox One like Rise of the Tomb Raider, which launched first on Microsoft's console before coming to PS4 a year later.
The source code on the website does not mention the release of a Switch game.
Despite rumours circulating about Shadow of the Tomb Raider moving to Eidos Montreal, Crystal Dynamics last year hired Ian Milham in August of last year.
Milham was the art director for Visceral Games, and worked on Dead Space and Battlefield Hardline.
In a statement when he joined Crystal Dynamics, he hinted that he could see Lara in his future:
“Adventure games have always been my first love. When the opportunity came to join Crystal Dynamics, I had to jump on it. This is the home of Lara Croft, who is a legend in action-adventure gaming and a pillar of the industry.
"I’ve admired Crystal’s work for a while now, as they continue to deliver top-notch narrative and spectacle, coupled with deep systems and player choice. I’m very excited about where the studio is headed and I’m eager to be a part of it.”
Previously, Square Enix had confirmed it's working on a new Tomb Raider game. In a statement released late last year, the publisher explained:
"Square Enix is excited to share some big news with you next year.
"Honestly, we wish we could share it with you right now but we're taking a new approach this time.
"A new Tomb Raider game is coming.
"Driven by our goal of putting our fans first, we want you to know that it won't be very long between the official reveal and when you can play.
"Our journey together will begin with a major event in 2018.
"We simply can't wait to take you on Lara Croft's defining adventure."
You can probably expect to see more about the game at E3 2018 this year.
