Sarah Ferguson, Prince Andrew and Princess Beatrice all attended Royal Ascot today.
Day four of the prestigious horse racing meet, which is the most valuable in the UK, saw a host of royals and celebrities attend, with the Queen herself also at the Berkshire race course.
However, one royal was noticeably missing: bride-to-be Princess Eugenie.
In a surprising move Eugenie didn’t attend the races today with her older sister and both her parents.
Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice are known for their very close relationship, and are rarely spotted without each other.
Princess Eugenie: Why she wasn’t at Royal Ascot with Sarah Ferguson, Princess Beatrice and Prince Andrew
Barely leaving each other’s side, the two sisters attended Royal Ascot twice together this week.
Making their Royal Ascot 2018 debut, the two sisters stepped out on Tuesday, with Eugenie wearing an all-white ensemble, foreshadowing her upcoming nuptials, and Beatrice in a pale blue quilted floral dress and matching hat.
They visited the racecourse again yesterday for Ladies Day, where Eugenie opted for another unusual hat choice – a boater-style hat with unusual cutaway. Beatrice went monochrome in a black and white mixed lace and crochet dress with a saucer-style hat.
But Eugenie didn’t show up today for her mother Sarah Ferguson’s Royal Ascot debut, with Sarah just having Beatrice there to support her as she mixed with royals and chatted to the Queen.
Surprisingly Eugenie wasn’t with her parents and sister, taking a break from Royal Ascot

Eugenie could’ve been busy planning her wedding, with dress, flowers, food, guest list and a host of other aspects needed to be organised for a wedding.
The venue is one thing that Eugenie won’t have to sort, with the couple’s big day taking place at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, the same location as her cousin Prince Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle.
Eugenie revealed in a recent Instagram post that the wedding planning had commenced, and with October fast approaching, could very well be busy with finalising her special day.
Her mother Sarah is also said to to heavily involved in the wedding planning, with many reports circulating that Eugenie might take inspiration from her parents’ 1986 wedding.
Fergie is reported to be very close with her two daughters, and also close to her ex-husband of 10 years Prince Andrew.

Speaking to Hello, she said: “A table can’t stand on three legs, really, so you have the Duke and I, and the two girls.
“We’re a family unit and we lead by example.
“We support each other emotionally and we support each other health wise.
“At least every two weeks we sit down and communicate, the four of us.”
Showing how tight-knit Fergie and her daughters are, the 58-year-old posted an image of a love-inspired painting to Instagram this week, with all three’s hand-written signatures signed on the waiting.
